Year 3 Ancient Egypt Day

Year 3 had an amazing ancient Egypt day. We spent the day learning about the process of mummification, how to write using hieroglyphics and finding out some of the theories on how the pyramids were built. It was great to see so many children dressed up as Pharaohs such as Tutankhamun and Cleopatra, we even had some mummies and cats! We finished the day with a few Egyptian dances because you can always ‘walk like an Egyptian... ‘
