Year 3 Macclesfield Museum Trip Day 1

Class: Year 3 Year: 2025 - 2026

3G and half of 3A took a very exciting trip to the Silk Museum in Macclesfield to consolidate their learning this half term on Ancient Egyptians. They learnt a lot of information, including details about mummification, Marianne Brocklehurst and the Egyptian Gods! They enjoyed seeing many of the items Marianne collected on her travels as well as making their own Anubis masks. Unpacking suitcases filled with replica artefacts provided great interest. The children were impeccably behaved and participated brilliantly. Well done!
