5I World Book Day and Budding with 3G

in 5I, we celebrated World Book day with amazingly creative potato characters and a day of Drama and other activities to immerse ourselves in the word of Hugo Cabret (our current book). Adelaide won the potato character with her Bess (The Highwayman) entry. We entered Paris in 1931 and recreated Hugo's hidden apartment inside the train station. Hugo even came to visit us and answer our questions! We all decided how we wanted to write the next part of the book which we shared with our Year 3 buddies. We looked at the character of Hugo and ended the day with a Conscience Alley where luckily, the Old Man decided to return Hugo's precious notebook before we went to the library!
