4HG embarked on an unforgettable journey back in time to Ancient Greece, immersing ourselves in a day filled with Greek history, culture and exploration.

We tasted the delicious flavurs of Greece and with shovels and brushes in hand, we became archaeologists, unearthing fascinating clues about life in Ancient Greece.

Many were left astonished by the remarkable inventions of the Greeks from the shower and central heating to the vending machines and cheesecake! They marvelled at how these inventions shaped the world we know today.

Pupils delved in to the mystery of how the Greek period came to an end and inquisitive minds were put to the test with quizzes and rhythms of Greek dances.
