5G Art work - Space

Lesson: Art and design

Class: Class 5G Year: 2022 - 2023

This half term, Year 5 have analysed the work of Peter Thorpe when creating an abstract piece of art around Space. We researched his approaches, as well as that of Wassily Kandinsky and used this to develop our own ideas. We used our sketch books to practise sketching and to test a variety of mediums to create our desired backgrounds and reflected on our progress taking in to account what we hoped to achieve.

All of our finished pieces are on display and we all felt proud of our finished products.
